Chef Jen Buehler Burfield
Born and raised in Independence, Missouri, Jen launched her culinary career after graduating from Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon. During Jen’s time in Portland, she was the chef de cuisine of the highly acclaimed and award winning Mediterranean restaurant, Lauro Kitchen.
A change of the winds landed her in Pittsburgh in 2011. She quickly found her place as general manager of the James Beard award-nominated Cure in Lawrenceville.
Desiring to get back to her kitchen roots, she reopened Cibo in Regent Square to rave reviews and a neighborhood following. Jen now joins us to create an exciting new contemporary American menu, where old favorites meet fresh ideas.
